Seeking Consultant for Growth and Diversification Plan Update – Regional Site Prioritization
Q: In regards to #1. Inventory all sites and buildings within the Region 6 footprint, does Region 6 want an inventory of all buildings within the Region 6 footprint?
A: No. The Region 6 Council would like an inventory of all sites eligible for development in the region and if there are any buildings currently on those sites.
Q: In regards to #5. Rank order each site in terms of cost to tier the site to a Tier 4 on VEDP’s ranking scale versus potential return on investment based on Region 6’s targeted industry clusters and what would be a potentially viable industry/industries at that location, would the Council like each site to be characterized during this analysis?
A: No. The Region 6 Council would like an inventory of all sites eligible for development in the region, their current Tier rating (based on VEDP’s site scoring) if the site is characterized, and if so, what the cost would be to bring the site up to a Tier 4. The Council would like the consultant to develop a ranking system in which to prioritize sites for characterization and moving up the tiering scale.
