Pete Humes

With more than thirty years in the banking industry Pete Humes serves as Market President for Northern Virginia at Atlantic Union Bank . As the market leader he serves as the regional liaison to business and community partners connecting them to the banking and investment resources offered through the bank’s various line of business. He also serves as Commercial Banking Group Head for Northern and Central Virginia. He joined Atlantic Union Bank in June of 2010. Prior to this he was the Chief Lending Officer at the National Bank of Fredericksburg (Mercantile Bankshares) and Market Executive for PNC Bank in Fredericksburg and Northern Virginia. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and is a veteran of the US Army. He lives in Fredericksburg with his wife and they have three adult daughters.
